U.S. envoy says Trump received apology letter Zelensky changes his mind, won’t attend U.S.-Saudi talks

According to the BBC, U.S. Middle East envoy Steven Witkoff made a high-profile claim on his Fox News show that Zelensky had written a letter apologizing to Trump. This is another American salvation after the last time Trump bragged that Zelensky’s letter apologizing was debunked by Ukraine.

There has been no further response from Ukraine.

Interestingly though, despite Zelensky’s extremely humble statement on X com, it was a momentary mystery whether he would attend the talks with the Americans in Saudi Arabia.

According to a March 9 report by the German news agency DPA, Zelensky confirmed that he would participate in the talks in a video message later that evening. At the same time, Zelensky added, the first talks between the representatives have yielded satisfactory results, and we hope that they will bear fruit both in terms of peace and further support.

However, in a Reuters report on March 10, Zelensky said he would not take part in the U.S.-U.S. talks planned for March 11 in Saudi Arabia.

Perhaps Ukraine still has a hard core even if it doesn’t want to lose face

Only presidents talk to presidents, and no one else but Trump can invite Zelensky.

More crucially, if Zelensky is not present, the U.S.-U.S.S.R. talks are doomed to be only preliminary consultations Mineral agreements can’t be signed.

Meanwhile, the game outside the negotiating table is even more violent. While Russia is pounding Kursk, Ukraine has also gone after Moscow and several other cities, launching the largest drone attack of the year.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, since the early hours of the 11th of November local time, the Russian air defense system has shot down 337 drones, including 91 in Moscow Oblast, 126 in Kursk Oblast, 38 in Bryansk Oblast, 25 in Belgorod Oblast, 22 in Ryazan Oblast, 10 in Kaluga Oblast, 8 in each of the Lipetsk and Oryol oblasts, and 3 in Voronezh Oblast, 6 in Nizhny Novgorod Oblast.

And the reason for the arrogance of the Ukrainian drones is that Trump has resumed his intelligence support for Ukraine.

On March 9, local time, US President Donald Trump said he had largely lifted the freeze on US intelligence sharing with Ukraine, and that he hoped to push Ukraine and Russia to the negotiating table and reach a peace deal.

It’s clear to see that Trump has also realized that Ukraine is as good as blind on the battlefield if it doesn’t have U.S. intelligence. At this rate, Russia will be even less likely to negotiate peace Why not take advantage of the opportunity to take Ukraine in one fell swoop? The only way to sit down and talk about peace terms is to have Russia and Ukraine in a stalemate on the battlefield.

A new piece of news popped up later today

According to Hong Kong’s South China Morning Post, the leaders of the U.S. and China will meet in China next month.

Of course, this has not been confirmed yet. But if you think about it, the Russia-Ukraine peace deal, the trade war 2 0, or even the Fed’s interest rate cut, will have to wait until after April.

After all, it is about the future of the global pattern, people did not arrive at the time how can we talk about the results?
