The U.S. has suddenly realized that China is no longer afraid of the U.S., and it’s hitting back harder and harder.

Recently, the Chinese Embassy in the U.S. said China is ready for any type of war .

This statement has caused quite a stir around the world.

What exactly does this mean?

It means that China is now ready, and no matter which way the U.S. tries to suppress China, it won’t hold back like it did before.

Looking back at history, China’s recent century-long history of humiliation is heartbreaking.

After the Opium War, the great powers opened China’s doors with their ships and cannons.

The Eight-Power Allied Forces burned the Yuanmingyuan

Japan invaded China and killed 300,000 compatriots in Nanjing.

Old-timers used to say that backwardness is to be beaten.

In the 109 years between 1840 and 1949, China signed a number of unequal treaties and paid out more than 1 billion taels of silver.

These were all because the country was not strong enough to fight against the strongest enemies.

01

Overall increase in China’s strength

China is very different now from what it used to be.

The GDP has reached 18 trillion dollars and it is the second largest economy in the world.

Steel production is more than 10 times that of the United States, automobile production is the world’s largest, and high-speed rail mileage is the world’s largest.

In terms of trade war, China and the United States have been fighting a trade war for several years.

The U.S. has added so many tariffs, but China’s foreign trade has not only not collapsed, but is still growing.

In 2023, China’s trade in goods will reach $594 trillion, ranking it as the world’s top goods-trading country for the seventh consecutive year.

Ordinary people can obviously feel, the original Chinese exports are clothes shoes and these low-end products, now new energy cars, cell phones, computers and other high-tech products are exported more and more.

The war on science and technology has shown the resilience of China.

The United States stuck us in the neck, do not give us chips, the result?

Huawei hard to develop its own Kirin chip.

At the end of 2023, Huawei launched the Mate 60 Pro phone.

It took the world by surprise.

We do not take the initiative to provoke conflicts, but if someone wants to bully China, then we have to be prepared for all kinds of things.

Because today’s China is no longer the country that was at the mercy of others 100 years ago.

02

America’s Tariff Trick

But, the U.S. apparently doesn’t realize it.

It’s back to its tricks, using fentanyl as an excuse to impose a 10 percent tariff on Chinese goods, and it’s saying it’s going to impose retaliatory tariffs on China, India, and the European Union on April 2nd.

This fentanyl excuse is a joke.

As early as 2019, China has already classified all fentanyl substances as controlled drugs.

Data from China’s Narcotics Control Office shows that in recent years, China has assisted the U.S. side in solving a number of drug trafficking cases and seized hundreds of kilograms of fentanyl-like substances.

Using this as an excuse is like picking a fight.

This is not the first time the United States has played a tariff trick.

Look back through history.

In 1930, the United States passed the infamous Smoot-Hawley Tariff Act, which raised tariffs to over 60 percent.

The result?

Other countries retaliated, global trade shrank by 66%, and the Great Depression got worse.

Instead of panicking in the face of the U.S. tariff bar, China took a series of smart countermeasures

China stopped putting all its eggs in one basket, the United States.

Exports to the U.S. used to account for 22 percent of China’s foreign trade, but now they’re down to about 16 percent.

China’s trade with ASEAN, which has exceeded that with the United States for many years, reached $978 billion in 2023.

In the past, China was overly dependent on exports, but now it is focusing more on domestic demand.

In 2023, China’s total retail sales of consumer goods amounted to 44.9 trillion yuan.

The sales of the Double 11 shopping festival in a single day exceeded 100 billion dollars.

It’s several times that of Black Friday in the United States.

When the U.S. withdrew from the TPP, China joined the RCEP and became the world’s largest FTA, covering nearly 30 of the world’s population and GDP.

Not to cause trouble, but not afraid of trouble either

Willing to cooperate, but not afraid of struggle.

As Foreign Minister Wang Yi has said, if the United States is determined to suppress, China will go all the way!

In the face of the tariff stick wielded by the United States.

China did not panic this time, but quickly offered a set of countermeasure combinations of precise strikes.

China quickly introduced countermeasures against the U.S., adding 10 tariffs on U.S. soybeans and 15 tariffs on agricultural products such as sorghum and wheat, as well as imposing sanctions on 15 U.S. companies.

This series of combinations of punches is accurate and ruthless!

Take the way of others, but also to cure their own people.

This old Chinese saying could not be more appropriate.

When the United States fights a trade war, China fights back with a trade war.

When the United States raises tariffs, China raises tariffs. The difference is that China’s counterattack this time is more targeted.

Comparing the situation back then and now, the difference is very obvious

2018 China just started to respond, somewhat passive, countermeasures ill-prepared, domestic market volatility.

2024 China is well-prepared, countermeasures are precise and powerful, and the domestic market is stable.

03

Hitting the U.S. where it hurts

Why are China’s countermeasures so precise this time?

Because we have mastered the soft underbelly of the United States.

China is the largest buyer of U.S. agricultural products, accounting for one-fifth of U.S. agricultural exports.

In 2024, China will import $6.99 billion in soybeans from the U.S. and $1.23 billion in sorghum.

In addition to agricultural products, China has imposed sanctions on 15 U.S. companies.

This approach draws on the entity-listing tactic customarily used by the United States, and realizes that the other side is doing the same thing to the other side.

The Chinese market is like a cash cow for American farmers.

In 2023, China imported more than 24 million tons of soybeans and 5.68 million tons of sorghum a year from the United States.

At today’s market prices, those two alone are worth more than $8 billion!

If U.S. agriculture loses China as a big customer, it’s not that simple to find another gold master who does the same.

In contrast to the U.S. dilemma, China’s options are plentiful.

It’s like when you’re in a market, the buyer always has an advantage over the seller.

In 2023, China has imported more than 66 million tons of soybeans from Brazil, far more than the United States.

Don’t underestimate Russian agriculture.

Vladimir Putin has been vigorously developing agriculture since coming to power and is now a major global exporter of wheat.

Argentina is known as the breadbasket of the world and is a major global exporter of soybeans, corn and wheat.

Despite the ups and downs in China-Australia relations, trade in agricultural products has remained stable.

Australia’s wheat, barley, meat and other agricultural products have a steady share of the Chinese market.

04

Where can U.S. agricultural products be sold?

On the contrary, if the U.S. loses the Chinese market, where can they sell their agricultural products?

The European Union? Unlikely.

The EU itself is a major agricultural exporter and has strict restrictions on GMO crops, so most US agricultural products can’t get in.

French farmers are even known for protecting their local agriculture, and have repeatedly protested against U.S. agricultural imports.

Japan and South Korea? The market is too small .

Japan and South Korea are small markets with limited demand.

Africa? Limited ability to pay .

Although Africa has a large population, it has a limited capacity to pay, as well as insufficient infrastructure and high logistics costs.

Selling agricultural products in Africa is often a losing proposition.

When the United States used agricultural products to open up the Chinese market, it may now lose that market because of tariff wars.

The first thing that comes to mind for the U.S. watchdog is chips.

Americans always love to say

Chips are our oil!

But now, with the rapid development of China’s semiconductor industry, we have basically solved this necklace problem.

Back then, the Americans used to despise China’s chip industry, believing that China could never catch up.

Today, 1.2 trillion yuan of exports is China’s answer.

05

Goodwill should be there, but the bottom line should be even better

Military conflict, China is not afraid of the United States.

Take the U.S. RAND Corporation’s 2023 study as an example.

The report states that the Chinese Navy has more than 350 ships, while the U.S. Navy has less than 300.

What’s more, China’s anti-ship ballistic missiles, the DF 21D Dongfeng 21D and the DF 26 Dongfeng 26, have been called carrier killers by Western military experts.

With ranges of 1,500 kilometers and 5,000 kilometers respectively, they can effectively threaten the freedom of movement of U.S. forces in the Western Pacific.

James Holmes, a professor at the U.S. Naval War College, has said bluntly that

If war breaks out in China’s coastal waters, the U.S. military will face a great challenge, China’s anti-intervention, area denial, A2 AD strategy has formed an effective defense system.

In fact, the Pentagon’s internal simulation exercises show that.

In a Taiwan Strait conflict scenario, it would be very difficult for a U.S. carrier battle group to get within 300 kilometers of China’s coast without suffering significant losses.

In addition to maritime superiority, China’s shore-based air defense systems, such as the S 400 and Red Flag 9, provide a multi-layered air defense network.

Goodwill must be there, but the bottom line must be strong.

China now has both the sincerity to negotiate and the courage to fight.

The door is open for talks.

To fight, we will go all the way.

Weakness will only lead to more bullying, and the only way to win real respect is to show your sword.

The 1.4 billion Chinese people have stood up and will never bow down again!

Anyone who tries to challenge China’s core interests will surely run into blood!
